Taupo

GNSS near real time (8 hourly) time series for GeoNet stations around Lake Taupo.

The map shows all GNSS stations around the lake, with red and orange stations showing sites we analyze 8 hourly, giving three datapoints per day (00-08, 08-16, 16-24). The orange stations are temporary GNSS stations set up in response to the 2022 unrest. Dashed outlined boxes show additional semi continuous stations run by GNS Science (need site visit to download data - no comms).

Longer time series based on daily data processing are shown below the 8h plots.

The data have been detrended, removing linear background trend and seasonal variations.
